Refund, Session Expiry And Cancellation Policy

Overview
At Death Doula Vic, I honour the emotional and practical significance of the services I provide. Your time and investment matter—so does the preparation and energy that goes into holding space for each session. This policy outlines expectations around bookings, cancellations and refunds to ensure mutual respect and clarity.
Session Validity
All 1:1 sessions, packages or bookings are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase. Sessions must be scheduled and completed within this time frame unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Unused sessions after this period will expire and are non-refundable.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
I ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.
• Requests must be made in writing (via email).
• With 48 hours’ notice or more, your session may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
• If notice is given less than 48 hours before your scheduled time, the session will be forfeited unless an exception is granted.
While I understand that emergencies and unforeseen events happen, late cancellations or missed sessions are generally non-refundable. In genuine cases of hardship or emergency, I may offer a credit or alternative arrangement at my discretion.
Refunds
Due to the nature of the work and time allocated, refunds are not automatically issued once a service has been purchased. If a session or package has not been used, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, subject to a $25 administration fee and provided no services have been delivered or scheduled.
All refund decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of Cara Biagi, Death Doula Vic
Group Events, Retreats & Workshop
If you have enrolled in a group event, retreat, or workshop:
• Full refunds are available if cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the start date.
• Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable, but your place may be transferred to another person upon request.
